PREPARE FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE ACDEMIC YEAR

_ Teacher gets close to pupils of classes.
_ Teacher teachs introduce about English subject, about the teacher.
_ Guides the pupils greeting: Good morning/ Good afternoon teacher, Goodbye teacher.
_ Setting some classroom rouutines, introducing some signals for story time and group work.
_ Some comands in the classroom
_ Teacher can teach several simple songs in English for pupils such as:

OPENING:
- Greet Ss in English” Hello, Hi”
- Call the roll to remember Ss’ names
PRESENTATION:
Introduce new language:
Introduce myself to Ss in English
Wave the hand or shake the hand of the puppet or of a student and say : “Hello”
Direct the hand to the chest to tell the name: Hello, I am (Ms Lien).
Give Ss some name tags or put them on the desk before Ss and greet some Ss
Say “Hi” or “Hello” and confirm that two ways are changeable: Hello, (Benny).Hi, (Sue).
Ask S1 to stand up and the class turn to him, waving hands and say Hi/ Hello, (An).
OPEN STUDENT BOOKS:
Have students turn to page 4 -5 in their books.
- Ask the class to identify the characters and describe what they are saying.
Play the tape
Practice the dialogue:
Divide the class into two teams. Team A keeps Puppet A and team B keeps Puppet B to practice speaking and then change the role
PRODUCTION:
Act. 1: Chain drill:
Have Ss greet to each other, using their real names
